Wantable Intimates February 2015 review

I received my Wantable’s Intimates box this weekend and am very excited! This is my second Intimates box with them and have been pleased. I can’t say the same for their accessories box. Check out my accessories reviews if you are interested.

Wantable has 4 different boxes to choose from. They have an accessories, intimates & makeup box which costs $40.00 for a one time purchase or $36.00 for a monthly subscription. The fitness box costs $20.00 for a stylist fee which is applied to any of the items you may keep. If you keep 3-4 items, you will receive 20% off, and 30% off if you keep all 5 items. Each box requires you to fill out a style survey. You fill out your loves, likes and dislikes. You should never receive items on your dislikes.

I am very happy with Wantable’s customer service and return policy. They are quick to reply and shipping and returns are free.

Third Love Mesh Demi Bra Black w/ Naked 36D (RV $48.00)

I really like this bra as it is so very comfortable. It has wide straps and tulle lining. I am very happy.

IMG_2731

Pajama Drama Tank with Lace Trim Coral Large (RV $21.00)

This tank is perfect for being lazy around the house. It is actually big for a large, but I am okay with it because it is so soft and comfy.

IMG_2732

Daisy Fuentes Lounge Pant Purple Medium (RV $38.00)

This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE item this month. These are so cute and comfortable. I love the ties on the bottom of the leg. I am short and now I am not walking on the ends of my pants. My daughter tried these on, fell in love immediately, and placed her first order with Wantable Intimates to hopefully get these pants also.

I am very pleased with my box this month. I hope it continues to be great.

JULEP February 2015 review & 50% off code + Free shipping

I am on my third box of Julep and I love the products. I used to only use OPI nail polish for many years, but now I am sticking with Julep because their products are also amazing, they have more than polish and it’s delivered to my door every month.

If you haven’t heard of Julep, they are a monthly beauty subscription service. Julep offers nail colors, skin care and cosmetics. Their boxes can be customized each month if you choose not to receive the box they have put together for you.(They give you the opportunity at a sneak peak before shipping so you can make changes if you wish). You can swap a product for a different product or you can change colors. The monthly membership is $24.99 per month or $19.99 per month for 3 months subscription. You also have the option to send a month to a friend or even skip a month. I will have a link at the bottom of the page with a code so you can receive 50% off your first box and Free shipping.

This is the box I received today for February. I customized this box.IMG_2733The box is beautifully packaged each month.

I received nail polish in Ella (deep purple) and I received a free bonus polish called Hartleigh (heart polish!). I also picked their new Glow Highlighting powder and Julep Fan brush. I can’t wait to use the powder and brush tomorrow morning. I will be redoing my nails in a couple days and I will be using the heart polish!

Give Julep a try if you haven’t before. I’m sure you will love this subscription box.

Wantable Accessories February 2015 unboxing & review

Hello Everyone!

I received Wantable’s Accessories box today and was excited to open it and check it out.

Also, there is a section you can send requests/comments to your stylist.

I liked the sneak peak of the bohemian necklace and asked for it. I received 4 pieces of jewelry. Let’s check it out.

IMG_2726

Bailey Bracelet Silver (RV $11.00)

This bracelet is cute on, but the quality of it makes me highly doubt the retail value stated. I’m disappointed.

IMG_2727

Sabrina Earrings (RV $18.00)

I wish you could see these in person. I wouldn’t pay $1.99 for them. I’m halfway through the box and disappointed with both items.

IMG_2723IMG_2724

Erica Bracelet (RV $22.00)

I wish you could see this one also in person & again, I wouldn’t pay $1.99 for it. This bracelet looks scratched up (not sure if it is supposed to look this way) and used. Not happy right now……

IMG_2722

Isa Necklace (RV $28.00)

I do like this necklace with the small beads, layers & colors. I also do not think it is worth the quoted retail value and for that reason, I will be returning this whole box.

I am very unhappy with this month’s box and I am going to cancel my subscription for the accessory box. I feel I can go to major retailers for $36.00 and buy some quality made pieces on sale and feel good about a purchase.

Do you subscribe to this box? If so, what did you receive and are you happy with your selection and purchase?

I was not compensated for my opinion. I paid for this subscription box myself. All opinion’s are my own.

Love with Food January 2015 unboxing & review

I received my first Love with Food tasting box a couple of weeks ago and just now getting time to post my review. Love with Food is a monthly subscription box that delivers all natural, GMO-free, gluten-free or organic snacks. A meal is donated for each box sold to a hungry child in America. I love a business giving back to help others.

Prices start at $10.00 monthly for a tasting box with 8 + snacks, $24.50 for a deluxe box with 16-20 snacks (2 meals are donated with this box), or a gluten free box for $24.50 with 8-12 snacks (2 meals are donated with this box). Shipping is free with all boxes.IMG_2715

This month’s box contained an information pamphlet on the food samples. I received Dark Chocolate Cacao Nibs by Britt ( I didn’t really like), Chocolate Dipped Coconut Mini by Luna (haven’t tried yet, but I love coconut and chocolate), Energy Kettle Cooked Apples by Big Slice (very interesting package, will try this week), Somersaults by Somersault Snack Company (didn’t enjoy), Breakfast in Paris Tea Black Tea by Stash ( I have recently gotten into hot teas & I really like this brand, so I’m sure I will love it), Cassava Pops by Wai Lana ( they were crunchy), Velvet Truffle by Alter Eco ( it’s chocolate!!), & In- Shell Almonds by Bobalu ( I like almonds for a snack).

I also received a gift card for $15.00 to Urban Remedy ( I will probably not use since minimum order to use the card is $50.00), a $40.00 gift card to hellofresh.com ( I will check out the website. They deliver fresh pre-measured ingredients with a recipe), 25% off code to CafeBrit.com (won’t use), 25% off code for Big Slice Apples (depends if I like them!), and $5.00 off $20.00 coupon for Stash tea ( I only buy one box at a time so I will not use).

I think this box would be fun for children to open and have snacks for lunch or during the day. I love the fact the company feeds a hungry child in America for every box sold. Although I do not think the box is worth $10.00 a month for samples, I am tempted to try them one more time. I will post a review if I do decide to give it another try.

Have you tried Love with Food? If so, how do you like them?

Thanks for reading!!!!

I paid for this box myself & all opinions are my own. I have not received any compensation for my review.

BoxyCharm January 2015 unboxing & review

Boxycharm is a monthly subscription beauty service with 4-5 full size and luxury size items. A monthly subscription costs $21.00 which auto renews, or you may get a 12 month subscription for $231.00. Shipping is included in the monthly and yearly subscriptions. Let’s take a peek at January’s box!

IMG_2703

I’m excited for this box. I really enjoyed December’s box and I think I will enjoy this month’s also. Let’s check it out!

IMG_2706

Beauty For Real The Perfect Pencil– Full Size (RV $14.00)

This is a neutral shade of lip liner. I tried to take a picture of the color, but it wasn’t turning out. I apologize for not having that to show you. I think I will like this lip liner. I do not really wear much lipstick, but I love lip glosses and this will be great to line my lips.

IMG_2705

Miracle Face Prime– Full Size (RV $ 29.00)

I have never had luck with face primers. My experience has been my fine lines showed up more. I am going to try this because of the reviews I have seen on it. I have high hopes for it.

IMG_2707IMG_2708

IMG_2709

Beauty for Real True Color Lip Cream in “Always There”-Full Size        (RV $22.00)

This is so cool! This lip color has a mirror on the side and a light in the cap!!!!! I wish I could keep this but the color isn’t my shade. I will regretfully have to swap.

IMG_2704

Pur-lisse Skin Sparkle Flash Tattoos– 1 Sheet (RV $12.00)

I received a package of Skin Tattoos in another subscription box this month that I am going to swap. This in only 1 sheet so I am going to keep them and use the small ones on my nails. Wish me luck!!!! I am not artistic!

IMG_2710

Tarte Maracuja Bronzing Serum- Full Size (RV $47.00)

This is a self-tanning serum you apply to your face. I am excited about this product as my only experience with self-tanners has been with drugstore lotion and it left me looking orange and streaky. I still prefer tanning beds even if they are bad for me. I am going to give this a try and my only question is this…..Will this serum make my face look bronze while the rest of my body is pale? Maybe I should go to the tanning bed the same time I use this. What do you think?

There is only one product I can’t use this month. Even so, I am very happy with Boxycharm. I think it is well worth $21.00 per month. I will be continuing my subscription. If you haven’t tried Boxycharm, I hope you do. I think you will like them and all the products are full size or luxury size. No samples here!!!

Pop sugar Must Have January 2015 unboxing & review (Not Happy!)

I was really excited for the arrival of my first Popsugar Must Have box……..until I opened it. I had watched many videos and read many reviews on Popsugar Must Have’s past boxes when I discovered subscription boxes one evening in December while surfing the internet. I anticipated this one the most.

Pop sugar Must Have is a monthly subscription and costs $39.95 per month.

IMG_2686

The box was heavy and is nicely packaged so lets take a look at each product.

IMG_2693                                     Skin Jewel Tattos (RV $18.00)

I will post these to swap. I think these are probably good for nightclubs, parties, pools, etc…..these just aren’t for me.

IMG_2688    Ultra Repair Cream by First Aid Beauty (RV $28.00)

This cream is for your face and body and claims to hydrate dry skin. I have read many negative reviews on this cream due to the smell and greasiness. I haven’t opened it because I am trying to decide whether to keep it to try or swap.

IMG_2689 eQua Hand Towel by Manduka (RV $16.00)

This towel is a microfiber towel and the purpose is to use at your workout. Hmmm….I just keep associating microfiber towels with drying my car and cleaning. I might try it or swap it.

IMG_2690

Eyes by ToGoSpa (RV $12.50)

I am excited to try this product. I’ve never tried an eye mask, but just thinking of the cooling effect is already relaxing!

IMG_2692

Pom Pom Hat by Jack + Lucy (RV $32.00)

I do like the looks of  this hat, although the reviews I have read on a past product in boxes by this brand were negative with claims of a product’s material unraveling. I love slouchy beanies and I hope this will hold up, although I am iffy about it because the material is very thin. I would never pay the retail price for this when I can get well known name brand hats for less than this and I know they last. I will give it a fair try.

IMG_2687

Reusable Brew Glass Coffee Cup 12-Ounce by Keep Cup (Value $26.00)

Hmmmmm……..It’s a cute cup, but I don’t know how I feel about it. I like my coffee in an old fashioned coffee cup or a travel mug. I don’t know if the tiny band will keep my hand from being burned. I haven’t decided if I will try it out or swap it.

IMG_2691

Nature Valley Protein Granola (RV $3.49)

Really???? I was hoping if a food product was in the box, it would be something new or not easily found and something way more healthy than this. I will take this to work and put it in the break room for everyone……LOL!!

I do not know if I will try another Popsugar Must Have Box. I feel like the items in this month’s box could have been found in a store like TJ Maxx and the retail value of the products are overpriced. I will wait for a sneak peek for February and decide.

What do you think of this month’s box? What products have you tried and what are your thoughts?

Julep January 2015 unboxing & review + coupon!

Hello Everyone! This is my 2nd Julep’s Maven box and I must say, I really love this company. I was a little skeptical before receiving my first box, but when I applied the nail polish, I was hooked. The colors are amazing and the polish goes on so easily!

Julep offers nail colors, skin care and cosmetics. Their boxes can be customized each month if you choose not to receive the box they have put together. (They give you the opportunity at a sneak peak before shipping so you can make changes if you wish). You can swap a product for a different product or you can change colors. The monthly membership is $24.99 per month or $19.99 per month for 3 months subscription. You also have the option to send a month to a friend or even skip a month. I will have a link at the bottom of the page with  coupon codes to get you a FREE box for joining.

This is my first review on Julep’s Maven, so let’s check out January’s box!

IMG_2683

Everything is nicely packaged. This month I received nail polishes in the colors Raegan (hot pink shade), and Sandi ( purple shade). I also received a Metamorphic top coat named Tilda. I’m very excited to try this because it is supposed to change your nail color a bit. I used to take my regular French Manicure polish and use it over my pink polish and it would give a little purple hue to it. I think this will do the same. Very cool! I also received an eyeshadow called Earthshine & it looks to be a sparkly brown shadow which will go great with my eyes. The Junior Mint candy is a nice bonus, too.

IMG_2684

If you haven’t tried Julep, please do. I think you will really like them.

Here is a referral code  https://www.julep.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/1467409/                                      and the coupon code for a monthly membership is HIFRIEND to receive a Free welcome box and $24.99 monthly. The code for a 3 month membership is FROSTYFREE to receive a Free welcome box and $19.99 per month.

Thanks for reading my blog. Let me know if you try Julep’s Maven box and how you like it!!
